Just when you start to think that Erny Green might have died, he shows up on a stage somewhere. This time it's EKKO, Utrecht.
Erny's working on a brand new album right now, so he might do some new tunes !!

++IAN CURTIS (JOY DIVISION) TRIBUTE++

Only few people know that Erny Green started his singing carreer at the age of 15 as a 'New Wave' singer end Seventies, early Eighties. One of his main idols was Ian Curtis of the band Joy Division. Joy Division was always an undergound band with not too many -though very persistent-  followers. Since Anton Corbijn's film Control (about Ian's life) more and more people got interested in the works of Joy Division. This inspired Richard Jongetjes (oa. Hedon and Noorderslag) to call Erny and ask him to start a Joy Division tribute band (for Erny used to be Holland's Ian Curtis in the eighties with his band The Eternal).  Next thing the band "Closer To Curtis" succesfully toured the Netherlands from February till May 2008 . ++ ALBUM "1992" WEER LEVERBAAR !!++

Goed nieuws voor de fans van het eerste uur !! Omdat de vraag naar het 1e Erny Green album "1992" recentelijk opnieuw begon toe te nemen, zijn de opnamen -die destijds alleen verkrijgbaar waren op casette- opnieuw gemasterd voor CD. Het album zal niet opnieuw uitgebracht worden, maar is wel leverbaar voor de liefhebber. Mail hier door middel van een verzoek en je krijgt antwoord hoe de cd te verkrijgen is ( 13,- euro incl. porto).
Het album bevat de eerste opnames van legendarische songs zoals oa. ' Red is beautiful' , 'What have you got in return', 'Dreamrose', 'The Man', 'How low can you go' en 'Section 29'.
